About this product
Murad Oil & Pore Control Moisturizer combines SPF 40 protection with precision-delivery salicylic acid, which gently removes dead skin cells to minimise the appearance of uneven tone and texture, enlarged pores and post-breakout marks. Oil-trapping microspheres help reduce excess sebum and shine for a more matte finish, while the SPF defends against UV rays and environmental pollutants.
How to use
Apply before going outdoors, allowing approximately 15 minutes. Reapply every two hours while outdoors and immediately after swimming or sweating.

Reviews
Pros
- Often described as mattifying with a lightweight, oil-free finish suited to daily wear under makeup
- May suit oily or acne-prone skin looking for combined SPF and pore-minimizing benefits
- Some retailers cite an in-vitro test showing a 54% reduction in the appearance of pores
Cons
- Contains fragrance (parfum) along with limonene, linalool, and citral, which fragrance-sensitive users may want to note
- As a chemical (organic-filter) sunscreen with avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene, some users prefer mineral-filter alternatives
